What We Believe: 1 Cor. 16:13

The Bible

We believe in the Bible, God’s Word to all peoples. We believe that the Bible, alone, is God’s infallible word, the undisputable, final authority on all matters upon which it teaches.

God: Three-in-one

We believe in God, the creator of the universe, who exists eternally as the one true God, yet also as God the trinity: God the Father; Jesus, His Son; and the Holy Spirit.

God the Father: creator of the universe, giver of life, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-encompassing, righteous, just, merciful, and good.

Jesus Christ: the Son of God, sent to earth to save humanity from sin and death, which entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s command to not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Jesus lived, performed miracles, taught that He is the one and only way to God, died for our sins, rose again on the third day after His death, and ascended into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God until He shall return, as foretold in the book of Revelation.

The Holy Spirit: our counselor, sent by God to all who believe in Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, to lead, teach, guide, and help those seeking to follow God and lead the life to which God has called them.

People Matter to God

We believe that people are God’s cherished creations, both Jew and Gentile (Gentile being all who are not Jewish). We believe God desires for us all, each and everyone of us, to know Him, and has given us through His Son, Jesus, the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20): to spread the good news, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, of His death and resurrection, to all peoples of the world.
