The 8:45 am service is our Traditional service. The praise music consists of hymns, led by a worship leader with an organ and/or piano accompaniment. Before the sermon, the Pastor prays for any prayer requests written on the prayer request list, which can be found each Sunday morning in the lobby outside the sanctuary before church and is open for any and all who have a request or need they would like prayer for.
The 11 am service is our Contemporary service. The praise music consists of contemporary Christian music and praise choruses, led by our praise band. Before the sermon, the ushers make available two wireless microphones for anyone in the congregation who would like to pray for a need or offer a report of answered prayer. A prayer box is available before each service for any who would like to write out unspoken prayer requests, and then at the end of each open prayer time, the prayer box is prayed over (the requests in the prayer box are later removed, unread, and burned, so that if and when any request is answered, we will know it was God alone who answered the prayer). |
