MISSIONS!

Examples of local missions are the clothing give-away, tutoring, the Annual Pig Roast, FYI Garage Sale, Salvation Army, MMCM, and the Aim High Basketball Camp.

Recently, a group of Ames youth traveled to Nashville, TN to bless WAY-FM, Rocketown, 6th Avenue, and the Nashville Rescue Mission with free and joyful manual labor!  Furthermore, the youth got the opportunity to share their faith with complete strangers at a local park and book store.

In addition to the numerous projects focused on blessing people outside of the Ames family, the youth have also served the church by helping families move, raking leaves, cleaning, washing cars, and even striping the church parking lot.
